Dissent! Dissent! There is strife within the Holy Church!

Queen Isabelle the Chaste is dead, and a duplicitous regent sits upon the Argent Throne! The streets of the sacred city of Brechenberg, jewel of the Western Realms, run crimson with the blood of noble claimants! The light of the Exalt has left this once hallowed place, and the twin curses of plague and famine assail the common folk in His absence!

Dissent! is a low-fantasy skirmish wargame with an accompanying range of 3d printable miniatures and terrain with designs inspired by the aesthetic of 15th century Europe. In the game of Dissent!, players will:

• assemble hardened mercenary warbands to fight skirmish battles in a city thrown into chaos.

• fight for a cause, whether holy, coin, or the glory of battle.

• gain notoriety as the outcome of their battles further or hinder the ambitions of various factions important to the overarching story.

Dissent! uses the CRUX: Universal Wargaming rules, and will be compatible with all CRUX-based wargames and roleplaying games.
